Fort William Rotary has officially launched its 39th Annual House Lottery.
This year’s house is located at 138 Bruin Crescent in the Parkdale area.
It is a four-bedroom, three-bathroom, 1,360-square-foot home with an attached garage.
The home is valued at roughly $800,000.
“The importance of this draw (is it) has been huge for our community with almost $8 million going back to local charities over the last 39 years and this past year, for our 2024 year, almost $700,000 went to local charities,” explained the Chair of the lottery, Cindy Levanto.
“This year, for the first time ever, we’re going to have a paved driveway. Open houses will probably start in May, once it’s a little bit less muddier, but tickets are on sale today so you can go to Thunder Bay 5050 store and buy your tickets.”
The draw is taking place on July 1, and the early bird prize draws are starting on May 2.
The deadline to purchase tickets is the day before the early bird draw.
“I am very optimistic with 19,500 selling last year, I believe that we can totally sell out this year for sure, sooner than later would be great,” added Levanto.
Tickets are officially on sale.
A total of 20,000 tickets are being sold.
